house rules


We require a 30% deposit for all bookings to reserve your spot on the agenda.  We reserve up to 5hours for appointments.  The deposit will act as a placeholder so we know you will arrive for your appointment.  The deposit can be made through the booking system and your appointment will be confirmed after the deposit is made.    

Cancelation Policy

We require 48 hours notice for cancelations.  A refund of your deposit or rescheduling of your appointment can be made prior to 48 hours notice.  Less than 48 hours notice will result in loss of your deposit and another deposit will need to be made when rescheduling.  If there is an emergency please contact your stylist directly to discuss options.


Please show up on time for your appointment, not too early and not too late.  We offer a 15 minute grace period for your appointment.  If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment may be shortened or you risk losing your appointment and deposit.


We price all color services to include a conditioning/health treatment and toner.  If more/less product is needed the price can vary.  The treatment is included because the health of your hair is also a representation of our work.  If you decline the health treatment, you are doing so at your own risk and we are not responsible for the condition of your hair.


Your satisfaction is very important to us.  If you are unhappy with any of your services contact us within 14 days after your appointment and we will schedule a correction to fix what you are unhappy with at no extra costs.

Personal items

Salon Sassafras has a lot of chemicals used to dye and bleach hair.  Please do not bring valuable items that could get damaged by chemicals and please keep an eye on your belongings so you do not lose them, especially earrings.
